Platform meeting for active aging

Platform meeting for active aging „Parteneriat Social” NGO is a member of this platform for almost 2 years. In our organisation’s statute we have set goals which are directly related to activities of protection and promotion of the seniors’ rights.

Between 06.2016 – 05.2017 the Platform was included in a pilot project within a wider initiative of the East Europe Foundation and the Center for Partnership Development: program of strenghening the advocacy effort of the Civic Society Organizations, that directly works towards promoting the rights and interests of women and men from social-vulnerable groups – through creating Thematic Gropus of Advocacy (the Platform represents an eldery inclusion group). At the moment the activity of the Active Aging Platform is supported by the „Protecting the human rights of the seniors from Moldova through promoting the old women rights” project, which is financed by the Federal German Republic and implemented by the HelpAge International (2017-2019). On 13 November 2017 we participated at the working meeting of the platform in the domain of emerging politics related to major recommendation of the politics analysis carried out between 2016 and 2017, as well as their monitoring.
