Unknown Teodorovici

„Parteneriat Social” organization has recently submitted the package of documents of Mr. Andrian Teodorovici, in order for him to participate at the national awarding ceremony for seniors “Pro an active life at any age”, organized by the Moldovan Health Ministry, Labor and Social Protection. He is an active volunteer of our organization and has achieved great performances in cultural domain, as well as agriculture, better say in beekeeping.

Mr. Teodorovici has a aquite interesting and diverse biography, being the eldest brother of the great national compositors Ion and Pertru Teodorovici. Even he was in the shadow, he continuously supported and guided them to success and great achievements. Unfortunately his father passed away at a very early age and he had to do things in life himself, learning to play piano and accordion at the age of 15 he was, already, composing songs. He, also, took care about the education of his younger brothers, which laid down a great responsibilities on his shoulders, to teach his brothers music and make them practice it.

Even Mr. Teodorovici is retired, he stays in good shape and continue his active life in the social and cultural domains, as well as practicing beekeeping.

In the period of 1997 – 2004, Mr. Teodorovici leads, on volunteering basis, the artistic group of children from the Leova School for children from disadvantaged families, which was singing songs based on the music and poetry of Mr. Teodorovici.

In the period of 2007 – 2012, Mr. Teodorovici works as Main Specialist within the Agricultural Department in the Leova Rayon Council. He organized and participated at various exhibitions at rayon, national and international levels (Romani, for instance). He was, also, involved in most of cultural activities implemented by Rayon Council, City Hall and Rayon Library.

In 2009, Mr. Teodorovici founded the Festival called „Ecoul de la baștină” in the memoriam of his brothers Ion and Petru Teodorovici, being the honorific President of it. He is an active member of our organization and carries out charitable actions for the 50 beneficiaries of the “Încredere” Community Center. For already 3 years, Mr. Teodorovici donates a jar of honey to each of our beneficiaries, when celebrating the International Seniors Day. He participates at poetry and music moments, together with Mrs. Maricica Corotas. He, also, payed supportive roles during celebrating the Day of People with Visual Impairments.

For already 2 years he is a student of the Ministry of Culture and National Identity, Romanian Academy, „Nicolae Iorga” University, Prahova County. These facts prove that a human being has necessity of learning throughout his life and that the age of 80 of Mr. Teodorivici is not an obstacle for actively enjoying life. In light of this, the “Chronograph” Romanian Documentary Studio made a movie about Andrian Teodorovici, called „Unknown Teodorovici”.

So, let us all promote our cultural values throughout our life, let us support seniors in everything they are doing, let us empower and make them feel important and useful for society. Under these conditions they will be more active and will amaze us with their talents and their life experience, as Mr. Teodorovici does.

In order to get our beneficiaries familiar with details about the life and activity of Mr. Teodorovici, on 04.09.2018 we have organized the presentation of the documentary movie for the 50 beneficiaries from the „ Încredere” Community Center. After watching the movie “Unknown Teodorovici”, the seniors started to discuss and share their experiences related to Mr. Teodorovici, when they had opportunities to meet, talk and work with him.
