South Regional Development Agency – Platform of promotion and support for LPAs from region.

As a board member of the South Regional Development Agency, I have attended the board’s meeting that took place on 29.10.2018. There was presented the activity report of the Agency for the period of January – September, 2018. The report was presented by Agency’s Director, Mrs. Maria Culeșov, as well as by the presidents of the specialized commissions.

There was, also, underlined the role and involvement of the civic society organizations towards implementing the Modernization of Local Public Service Project in the South Development Region, presented by the IDIS Viitorul representative.

The meeting ended with a launched public policy proposal related to Urban Development in the Republic of Moldova, presented by the Head of the Department for Regional Development Policies within the Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment.

This communication Platform is very welcome, being an efficient instrument that highly supports the activity of the Regional Development Council.
