Public debates “Make your choice freely. Make your choice consciously”
On 1st of November 2018, “Parteneriat Social” Organization organized some public debates on upcoming parliamentary elections from February 2019. The event took place within the project “Make your free and rational choice” which is being implemented by Contact Center in partnership with Friedrich Ebert Foundation and financially supported by Soros-Moldova Foundation/Department of Good Governance. The event’s motto sounds like this: “Do not be a person who does not care, you can decide the future of your country”. The trainers of the public debates were Mrs. Sofia Ursu and Mr. Victor Koroli, who facilitated discussions on the following questions:
Do you want in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova to be elected only the most diligent nation’s representatives?
Do you want to express your opinion and your voice to be heard?
Do you want to find out more about the mixt electing system and some particularities of the parliamentary elections from February 24, 2019?
Dou you want to know how to maintain a permanent communication with deputies elected by you?
The participants at the public debates were active citizens from Leova town, of different ages, who has the right of voting and who were representatives from the Rayon Department of Education, Youth Center, students from Professional School, “M. Eminescu” High School, local NGOs, beneficiaries of the “Incredere” Community Center, as well as citizens from Leova.
