International Day of Families, 15 May

The day of 15 May was declared ”The International Day of Families” through the UN resolution adopted by the General Assembly on September 20. Its objective mainly focuses on providing an opportunity to promote awareness of issues relating to families and to increase knowledge of the social, economic and demographic processes affecting them. During this day, a greater attention is being invested in promoting family values – equity, love, respect, equal sharing of household responsibilities, fighting all forms of domestic violence towards women, children and seniors

On this occasion, the “Incredere” Community Center has organized an amazing socializing and relaxing activity for our beneficiaries, in partnership with the Leova Youth Center. There were organized fun games, where seniors had the opportunity to actively participate and enjoy their time together with the young volunteers from the Center. At the end of the event, all of them were served a hot meal by the “Parteneriat Social” association.
